a dream worth having.

cidan looked at  Casandra and asked her to call Amanda up to this room!
she smiled and went to the intercom and asked her to come up.
when she arrived cidian said; “Amanda this is Nikea, a photographer and she will be working for me now, probably for years to come, and she is willing to show you the ropes if your interested?”
her eyes light up and went wide, “hell yes, i am!”
Casandra  looked at her, and Amanda said; “i mean yes i am! sorry mom!”
Casandra  said; “that’s better!”
everyone else laughed.
cidian then added; “the job won’t actually start until some time next month, i have yet to fire up the forge, i was planing on doing that in two maybe three days!”
“why so late?”
“the new style forge takes molds and that is what i am waiting on, i got to get some ingests to work the old style forge too and well its easier to just make my own!”
“oh!”
at that point they talked about several subjects while Amanda talked to Nikea about  photography.
the others visiting stay at our invitation for supper and after everyone ate cidian went in to the work area to talk to Tenae.
after that talk he left with a smile on his face.
over the next couple of day’s they basically worked on his book, he kept getting very frustrated but with her encouragement he kept pushing on, and once a day sense he started his game again online he check them, this time however he discovered in two games he was attacked and he wanted to attack the attacker back in one game badly but didn’t, the other game he did and won that fight for a change, strategy games wasn’t his strong suit but he continued to try to play them because he wasn’t a quieter, the only reason why he did before was because he had too many thing on his mind and way too many problem of his own to deal with and he was finding it very very very difficult to separate his make believe world from the real world, he thought to himself out load; “that is a dreamer’s falling!” as he said it he realized that her oldest son was in the room and even though he said it with a low voice he heard Cidian say it and asked: ‘what is that suppose to mean?” Cidian looked at him and replied; “it’s nothing OnWell don’t worry about it” they both went back to what they were doing.
later he went to check on the molds but they were still wet, so he retired for the night, settled down with a good book about military air craft and their design.
the next day for a change he woke before everyone else, and he made his coffee, the coffee the ladies made was to him somewhat week but then he loved very very very very very strong coffee, Red eagle who drank espresso couldn’t drink his coffee.
then about two hours later the ladies woke up and then the rest of the boys, each in turn came up to get coffee, Casandra  was the first and when she took a taste of his true made coffee her eye winded wide.
he saw her look and dug out the kerurig and three different kinds of cup coffee, latie, dark magic and dark Folgers all unfortunately was the extra strong verity of coffee but still much weaker then his.
later he drank a cup of mint tea, and pomegranate mixed, after that they worked on his book again, but he was sorry to say after these three full days of working on the book he had to get started on his forging and building of props so he could get his photos of his work when they were done.
so he pounded extra hard on the book this day because the next two weeks he had to do the others.
when they finished this day they managed to finish the first 6 chapters of the book compleatitly.
and for three days that he though wasn’t bad.
after the day had ended he retired brain dead and slept for several hour, the next day though he got up had his normal pot of coffee and went into the forge room.
he fired up the new stile forge and walked to the older home made forge and through a match into its center, a wall of flame shot up to the ceiling as it hit the lighter fluid covered coals.
then he went into the mold room and took down 6 ingests bars and carried them in to the older forge, the flames had died down a bit but was still burring fairly good.
then he went into the mold room and took down six molds, a sword with a dragon carved out of it, a sword with a rose carved out of it, a bubble handed sword with a family crest of a old medieval family that is well known, a dagger that is split into two and each half has half of a rose on it, a simple hammer head and a mold of a castle this mold was made by Tenae and it had on the side a picture of a werewolf fighting a knight carved out of it.
and he put them all by the Mondrian forge, and then he went back and got the simple ingests molds for iron.
the he hit the start button on the smelter and it too fried to life.
then he went to the old style forge and pulled a rope that started to make the fanbag blow air on to the coal forge and the flames started to rise again slightly, he did that for a few seconds maybe about a minute.
then went back into the the main hose for coffee, as he opened the door the noise just about blow out Amanda’s ear drums as she put it to her mom, after her mom got up.
Amanda had just got out of bed at that time and came out of her room, it caused her to jump and jump high.
he did close the door again fairly quickly, then as he walked by her he said; “good morning!”
Amanda’s reply was; “it was! good morning to you too!”
he went to the kitchen and got a thermos full of coffee then returned to the forge.
inside the forge room he looked at the coals and they where just starting to get hot.
he checked the Mondrian forge and the tempter was about half he needed to start work, he checked the smelter and it was just under the tempter needed to melt iron.
it took about 30 minutes for the coals to get red hot, it took fifteen minutes for the Mondrian forge to get hot enough to get started and the same for the smelter.
after the smelter got hot he went into the ore room and went to the iron ore got about 30 pound, put into a red toy wagon and pulled it into the forge room up to the smelter, he put in about 30 iron rocks small in size and closed the draw, and stacked the rest to one side.
then he went back into there and got some silver ore and gold ore about 20 pound each and pulled them back to the smelter.
then put them to one side.
after that he checked the coals, not quite yet.
he then went back to the smelter and put another few iron ore rocks into the second tray and closed it.
now he put the silver into the tray of the Mondrian smithy and closed the tray.
then he sat down to wait on the coals.
a little latter he finally got the coals red hot and he went to the smithy apron and put it on.
then he put in a iron ingest into the forge right on the coals and sat down to wait for it to get red hot.
about 15 to 30 minutes later the iron ingest was red and Cidian garbed his tongs and turned it over and set it back down on the coals.
25 minutes later this side too was red hot, he took it out and started pounding on it with the head of the hammer slightly angled.
he hit it as hard as he could, to start molding to ingest into the shape of a sword.
when the ingest cooled down to much to shape he put it back in the fire.
he did this over and over again until the sword took shape, it took about an hour to get the ingest to flatten out into a straight pole like shape that was fairly flat.
it took him two hours to get it to look like a sword but it did form into one,
and then when the sword blade was formed he put it into the troth to cool it down quickly.
he left it there and took a second one and through it on the fire, then went to check the smelter and seen the iron was all melted he took the molds and lined them up.

then he poured into the molds the iron and the swords took instant form.
he was able to fill two molds with one melted ore pan, then he pushed them aside to let them cool on there own.
when the silver melted it was dumped into a special mold.
then he waited for the next ingest and it wasn’t hot yet.
after about 25 minutes it was red hot on one side and he took the tongs and turned it over and set it back on the other side.
then after it too got red hot he too it out and hammered it until it took the shape he wanted, this time though the shape he wanted was a T and he worked hard to get it.
after he got it he took the tongs and a pair of grippers and slowly wedged it into the glowing coals.
sense it was hot still it only took a few minutes to get the but close to but not quite at the melting point, here he took out the tongs and grippers and set the handle into the vice grip of the forge he made that was where the gripper was, was circular in shape.
tighten it down some some what, and used a hand chisel to hollow out the center of the iron hilt, then reheated it and hollowed out some more, he did this often until he got the dept he desired.
the reheated that and the wide end of the blade until they both were red hot, he had to remove the hilt a few times while the blade was getting hot, but he kept the hilt as hot as he could until the blade was just as hot, then put the hilt into the vise grip and he had to move fast here, then he took the cool end of the sword blade, the end that will be sharpened and pushed the big end, the hot side, into the hilt and hammered it into the hilt as far as he could get it before it cooled.
next he reheated the sword handle until it got red hot again the whole hilt and put the hilt on the stone wall of the forge and hammered it some more, he did this until the blade was as fare into the hilt as he had chiseled out. then through it into the water troth, the whole sword.
the went to the Mondrian forge and got the melted ores and pored them into the molds he wanted and the same with the smelter.
as the metals was drying, cooling in the molds he too the one handed sword he made the hard way and started to polish it up by grinding the burnt metals off.
that took several hours and then he started to sharpen the blade itself.
that sword was at that point done and he hung it on the weapons rack.
he then let the older style forge burn itself out, he took off the apron and hung it up then went to take a shower.
in clean close he went to the kitchen the rest of Casandra  and the family was eating supper at this time.
from that point in time the work area was called the black hole because when he went inside it he rarely came out until time to eat supper.
and he was grateful she was there because she was a grate cook and loved to cook which meant that a supper was waiting for him when he came out.
the next day the ore in the molds was as cold as ice, and he broke them open.
took the to the grinder to polish them all up and that took him all day.
the next day he melted the little bit of gold he took out of the ore room, then after it was melted he poured it into the cared dragon on the long sword and in the rose on one of the short swords.
and let them dry.
that took a day to do, the next day he remelted the leftovers of the gold and poured it into the dragon and rose on the other side of the same said weapons and let those dry.
the next day he mounted a few rear gems he had collected from the hill years back onto the swords and sharpened them up.
then he boxed each up.
then he spent the next three days working on his book and got up to chapter 30 in the rewrite with Casandra  help.
then he spent two days making wood siege weapons, int the field, these were going to be used as props.
then worked the forge, each day he used the forge he made a total of 8 weapons and one was totally by hand.
then the next day he worked on his book with Casandra help.
this was the going renew for the next two months, and finally he had all but the last chapter of his book done and more then enough of the weapons to advertise on line, the deal he had his lawyer working on finally payed off and he owned a shop in Yellowknife, inside the next two days Amanda and Nikea took several pictures of the weapon and OnWell put them online for him, then they all took the weapons to the shop and set up the shop, Casandra  asked; “you got everything but armor why is that?”
“armor has to be specially made to fit or it won’t fit the person buying it!”
“oh!”
then the shop opened.
then they finished his book and relaxed the rest of the day
during this point in time Cidian asked Casandra; “have you ever felt in a way that is hard to explain to someone, about that someone?”
“yes things like that happen sometimes why?”
“well i got a gift for you for your cooking and work you have done, please just except these, you earned them! oh i also got one for your kinds too for the same reason!”
“what is it?”
“they should be on the dinning room table by now!”
at that they walked up to the dinning room, stopping to get her kids on the way.
as they walked in he said; “i’m thinking about trying my hand with a novel series if your up of ghost writing a bunch of books?”
“well see!”
inside the dinning room was a bunch of boxes lined up on the table.
when she opened her’s there was a pot and pan set made of steel with a copper bottom, there was a set of dishes a total of twelve plates, saucers, coffee cups made of a pottery, and there was a large blown picture of colored glass of a Dragon and a gravy boat blown collar of a werewolf.  her kids each got a crate of crystal half full to do as they like for their help.
“the chopper will be here tomorrow at 3 in the after noon but you all are welcome to stay as long as you like, the choice is yours!”
